Inventory Listing
We write down everything before loading. A detailed inventory confirms that all the items we are moving will be delivered accurately. It also provides protection against loss or damage due to transporting the goods cross-country.
Moving Plan
Your move coordinator develops the entire plan for your move — from timeline to destination to specific needs for each move. Every move is treated as an individual move based on its own unique details.
Packing Materials
We use quality boxes, blankets, shrink wrap, and specialty packing materials including specialty materials for fragile items. All packing materials are included with full-service packing.
Furniture Protection
We pad wrap furniture and then load them onto the truck. No furniture is ever put onto the truck without being completely protected (regardless of the length of haul).
Loading
We ensure proper load stabilization and weight distribution before the truck leaves for the cross-country trip.
Transportation
LDM Toronto trucks and crew transport all of your items. We do not use outside carriers or third-party providers to transport your items. Your items will travel directly with LDM, from the Greater Toronto Area to your desired destination.
Delivery
We deliver the items we have moved to your new address and do our best to place the items in the rooms you have requested. The movers who transported your items will unload your items in the same manner we loaded them.
Unloading
We complete a final walk-through after every item has been unloaded and before LDM Toronto exits the property. Your move coordinator will remain on your property until the move is complete.

5. Final Walkthrough & Delivery
